Why JANvertise Was Created
JWe created JANvertise to help our local community connect more easily when looking for help at home.
You never know — the help you need might be right down your street.
When we needed support, we found it surprisingly hard to find the right people. Cleaners, carers, cooks — they were out there, but scattered across different platforms or relying on word of mouth.
At the same time, those offering their time and skills were struggling to be seen by the people who needed them. That gap inspired JANvertise — a simple, community-focused platform where local people can find and offer help without a middleman.

We currently focus on three main categories of support:
